SH2-235 Emission Nebula in Auriga	H-Alpha

Description This kidney-shaped emission nebula is located in Auriga at a distance of approximately 6,000 light years with an apparent dimension of 8 x 3 arc-minutes. The faint HII region at the upper-left is part of SH2-232, while the one at the upper-right is SH2-231 The above image is the result of a total of 3.5 hours of H-Alpha imaging aimed at capturing the H-Alpha emission light of this nebula.

Description

This kidney-shaped emission nebula is located in Auriga at a distance of approximately 6,000 light years with an apparent dimension of 8 x 3 arc-minutes. The faint HII region at the upper-left is part of SH2-232, while the one at the upper-right is SH2-231

The above image is the result of a total of 3.5 hours of H-Alpha imaging aimed at capturing the H-Alpha emission light of this nebula.
