- Description: Faint nebulosity in southern Monoceros up and to the left of Sirius,
straddling the border of Canis Major. A rather large nebula at 1 x 2.5 degrees, even larger
with heavily filtered shots. Located in a rich part of the winter milky way there are many stars.
Along the bottom edge is NGC2345, a star cluster of about 70 stars, 12 arc minutes across glowing
at magnitude 7.7.
