Emission Nebula in Perseus- NGC1499
Camera: Moravian G4 (16803 ccd) w Astrodon RGB and 5nm H-Alpha filter
Scope: AP155EDF wtih 4" field flattener
Paramount MX guided with an ST-402 and Borg 60mm guidescope
40x20 min in H-Alpha; 17x20 min OIII; 56x20min SII
15/16/17 x 10 min RGB
Acquired with TSX and CCD-Commander
All calibration via WBPP script in PixInsight. Subsequent processing:
PixInsight:
RGB:
SPCC, BlurX, NoiseX, GradientCorrection, Curves,
HistogramTransformation, SCNR, masked Saturation boost to midtones and
highlights
H-Alpha: BlurX, NoiseX, StarX, HistogramTransformation, Curves, LocalHistogramEqualization (masked), GradientRemoval
OIII and SII: BlurX, NoiseX, StarX, HistogramTransformation, Curves, GradientRemoval
I
used the Foraxx script to assemble a pure Narrowband image without
stars. I then used Pixel Math to "add the stars back in" but I used the
fully processed RGB image as the "stars only" image to get this final
result.
