LBN 222 - Bright Nebula in Cygnus

LBN222 HaRGB

LBN 222 is a "Bright" Nebula in the constellation Cygnus.

Here is just the H-Alpha channel (stars removed)

Camera: Moravian G4 (16803 ccd) camera w Astrodon Gen II filters
Scope: AP155EDF w 4" FF
Mount: Paramount MX (MKS5000)
Guiding: SBIG ST-402ME via Borg 60mm guidescope
12/12/12 x 10min RGB, 47 x 20 min H-Alpha
Image acquisition using CCD-Commander, TheSkyX

PixInsight Processing:
RGB: GradientCorrection, SPCC, BlurX, NoiseX, StarX then on the
RGB Starless version: Histogram Transformation (HT), DarkStructureEnhance.
RGB Stars-ONLY: Curves then masked Saturation boost to the highlights.
Stars added back to RGB image using Pixel Math. Save as TIFF

H-Alpha: GradientCorrection, BlurX, NoiseX, StarX,
H-Alpha Starless image stretched using HT then DarkStructureEnhance. Save as TIFF

Photoshop Processing:
H-Alpha was copied and pasted as a layer over the RGB three times using Lighten blend mode each time. In each layer, only one colour was affected and this was: 100% to Red, 6% to Green and 20% to Blue.
Some blurring of star cores, NoiseX then Save for Web
