Sharpless 135 aka Sh2-135 aka LBN 492 in Cepheus - HaRGB

Sh2-135 HaRGB


Sharpless 135 is the  faint nebula It is also known as  LBN  492. It seems to be imaged fairly infrequently. According to GalaxyMap.Org, this nebula appears to be a blister
on a dark dust cloud in front of the bright arc. The nebula is ionised by the O9.5V class BD+57 2513 and includes the star cluster Juchert 21.

23/21/17 x 10 min each of RGB, 17x20min H-Alpha
Camera: Apogee U16M (16803) w Gen II Astrodon RGB and H-Alpha
Scope: 12.5" Planewave CDK
Mount: Paramount ME
Guiding SBIG ST402ME and Astrodon MMOAG

RGB and H-Alpha processing in PixInsight. Stars removed prior to stretching the H-Alpha using Russ Croman's StarXTerminator in PI.; Blend of starless H-Alpha w RGB and save-for-web in PS CC

BlurXTerminator was applied to the final image back in PixInsight.
