Abell 2151 - Galaxy cluster in Hercules
  • Description: A large group of galaxies in Hercules some 509 million light-years distant. Covering an area about 56 arc minutes across, there are about 200 galaxies in this cluster. Rich with both spiral galxies and interacting pairs. Only a few of the galaxies appear in this shot! The brightest is elliptical NGC6041 at magnitude 14.3, only 1 x 1 arc minutes in size.
