  • Description: Faint emission nebula in Auriga. The bright open cluster in the upper left is Messier 38, below it is a smaller cluster NGC1907. Below that is a patch of fainter nebulosity known as IC417. Of the bright pair in the center, the left nebula is IC410, the right is IC405.
    This image is a digital composite. Colour is from Kodak Ektachrome E200, nebulosity from a deep red filtered tech-pan image.
