Lambda Orionis Cloud - Nebula in Orion
  • Description: This very large and very faint nebula surrounds the "head" of Orion. The bright stars at lower center of this shot are Collinder 69, about 20 stars in an area 64 arc minutes across. Also known as SH2-264 and the Anglefish Nebula.
