Globular Cluster Messier 75
Messier 75
  • Description: Globular cluster in Sagittarius. M75 is a magnitude 8.6 globular, 6.8 arc minutes across. Also known as NGC6864. This is a sketch as this target is very low to the south in my part of the world making it diffcult to photograph. A sketch was easier but still needed a 14" diameter scope for a good view!

  • Scope: Celestron C-14 SCT
  • Magnification: 130x with a 30mm eyepiece
  • Location: Wilson Coulee Observatory, Alberta
  • Date: June 8, 1992
