  • Description: A small but bright Seyfert galaxy in Cetus. M77 (NGC1068) is a magnitude 9.6 galaxy, 7 x 6 arc minutes in size with a very bright nucleus. On the left side of the frame is edge-on galaxy NGC1055. Magnitude 11.4, 7.6 x 2.6 arc minutes in size. Bottom centre is 14th magnitude NGC1072.
